hey guys, im looking for a gunsmith in the billings area that can help me put a simple slant break on my AK. i have the slant brake but dont have the machine/tools to do the work. IM me if you can help thanks |

In addition to the muzzle break, you will need the spring and plunger retainer that slides into the FSB (it's held in place by the forward rivet) to keep the muzzle break from moving. To bad I'm so far from you (Converse County, WY), the whole job should only take about 5 minutes. |

i have a mak 90 that im trying to change the look of. im ordering the us wood as soon as i get my tax return. i bought a slant break online and need it put on. the barrel would need to be threaded. that is why i need to find a gun smith or machinist. i called billings gunsmiths and those guys are dicks. i will never do business with them. the guy was arrogant and treated me like shit on the phone. i cant see it being a whole hell of a lot to thread a barrel. i dont want to spend a ton of money just to put a 10$ part on. i think the slant break is a 14-1 Left handed thread. thanks |
