We are getting our new simulator in about 4 weeks. We are looking for class feed back involving it and some other toys. Here is what we are thinking that we would like your input on. 1) Defensive pistol and mind set class. It has been a favorite of many because the simulator is just FUN! It covers the basics and some mindset development. A great class for new female shooters too. 2) Basic pistol. Using the simulator we can track your muzzle to see what you are doing before, during and after the shot. It is a good skill builder. 3) The AR-15 Armorer’s course. The name says it all. From the ground up with the exception of installing barrels. 4) A foreign weapons course. This covers most of the belt feds and other common small arms. It is just like the one I teach for the Army. 5) Equipment load out. Just like the one we give the new guys when setting up the new LBE system we are issued it covers the most common scenarios we faced down range (adjusted to fit the CONUS climate) and how to structure and lay out your LBE. It also covers the different load outs for the various situations you may face. 6) Vehicle load out and convoy prep. This is what you would most likely find useful in your vehicle in an everyday emergency, as well as what other items you may need in case of a serious and wide spread local emergency. We also talk about how to lay out a convoy of two or more vehicles and how to equip them. After all, if a disaster struck tomorrow, how would you get to where your family is or out of the area? This may help make that easier. 7) Disaster planning. Does your family have a disaster plan? How will you get everyone together, or even make sure that everyone is ok? Then what do you do? Hole up and wait or get with other groups in the area to put your skills and equipment to work as a whole? Do you know who in your area has a plan or if anyone in your area is working with the local Red Cross or FEMA to co-ordinate relief efforts in your area? So these are the classes we have been ask about. Please let me know your feed back on which if any interest you. They are all very reasonable in price so that should not be an issue, even for most Utahn’s! We are trying to get the new class schedule laid out now and if there is no interest in some of these they will be scraped. Thanks for your help! |

Cool! I would be interested in all pretty much but not so much #3, but I would like a marksmanship class, I would love to get better with my carbine and my pistol. And I would love someone to look at my 92fs, either me or it has a problem. ![]() Main ones I would like are, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 depending on prices I might need to take a few off the list. |

Honestly, all of them sound interesting. Prices would help me decide; I don't recall how much the AR-15 Armorers Course you guys had a few months back cost, but IIRC it was <= $100. 1-3 are the most realistic, but again, they all sound cool. BTW, +1 for a Carbine course. |
