I currently have a Nevada CCW and an application for Utah.
On the question "have you ever been convicted of any offenses involving moral turpitude" I had to answer yes. I was convicted 13 years ago of misdemeanor larceny (took a newspaper box out of someones yard) Will this deny me a ccw in Utah?
Also the Nevada CCW is honored in Utah will this allow me to not pay the brady fee.
                          Thanks,
                                Dan

An out of state permit does not allow you passed the NICS check or the fee for it.

I don't know what their disqualifying offenses are.

Where in NV are you?

If you have passed the background chek for gun purchases in the past you should be able to get the permit. With it being 13 years old I think you will be ok. A buddy of mine was turned down the first time he put in because of a DUI that was only about 1 year old, he waited a year and then he was approved.

It will go through, as long as enough time has passed for the offence to be Expunged (5 years after the case was closed - probation completed etc...) you will want to add a page explaining what, where, when it all happened.
