Is there any rules and CCW at Moda Center? I am going to a Blazers game this week and may take the Max.

I found on their website that they are NOT permitted, but do they do any security checks for Blazer games? I normally steer clear of places that don't allow CCW, but my wife wants to go.

They used to try and recruit off duty police/parole and probation officers and wouldn't let them carry.

If they have metal detectors in use you will not be granted entry.

It would be better no leave it at home or not attend

They will not accommodate you in any way.

I can't remember the last Blazer game I went to if they had them or not.  The last two concerts I went to, they didn't not have them but they did look in the wife's purse.  Pretty sure they had wands for something I was there for.

I was there for a Winterhawks game on Saturday.  Walked right in.  The wife got her purse searched by some old piece of jerky that looked like my grandma's grandma.  No metal detectors, wand or stationary, in sight.  But that's Winterhawks.  Blazers or concerts might be different.

I've been wanded on the suite level for a Blazer game before. Don't think I was on any other level

Blazer games DO have metal detectors at the doors.

Funny, I went to that same game (Hooray Mascot Night!) and got wanded.  Wasn't carrying at the time, as I knew the policy and figured they'd have detectors.

I go to two games a year. They wand for sure when the Lakers are here. Didn't get wanded at wizards game. One time I beeped but told them (kids) it was my belt. Be prepared to walk your ccw back to your car. As far as rules? Yes, it's on the ticket, but I have older eyes and forgot my reading glasses...

Is there somewhere to park that is local and normally has spots? If so I do not walking it back to the car if they won't let me in.

I have access to garage passes so that's out...couple of lots north of the venue for parking. Arrive early and find a spot?
If you really have to go back and lock it up, you can cover ground pretty fast...just part of being prepared. Good luck and enjoy the game!! always a fun time.

Were you the guy in the kilt and Darth Vader mask on the unicycle with the bagpipes that shot fire?  That might explain the discrepancy.

We entered from the moda center parking garage onto the A level.

Ha, no.  Though he did come in through the same entrance as me, he didn't get checked at all.  Apparently you can bring a freaking flame thrower in to a game, might try that next time.

I have not considered dressing like Vader. Sometimes the best ideas are the most obvious
