Sorry to hear! That definitely sucks. Another lesson for the rest of us, don't leave your guns in your car if you can help it.

They most certainly do not.
It is chambered for a unique cartridge loaded using custom dies.
You can't buy ammo for this anywhere in the world.
Can't even load your own unless you know the specifications to have the custom dies built to.

This is why I built a lockbox/safe into the back of my Xterra. I hope they turn up.

Great. Should be easy to recognize if they try to sell it to a dealer then. Dumbasses are probably trying to stuff 30-06 rounds into it.

I guess you're covered as far as that goes, not a bad idea, maybe they'll try to shove something else in it and lose an eye

Just an FYI, this thread can probably be unpinned. Can't go in to details, and not everything is resolved, but it has served it's purpose and the pinning of it was greatly appreciated.

Best advice I can give for anyone who has a gun stolen, make a flyer with all the information and post it everywhere. Serial numbers are a must and put them in the file info so a google search will turn this up. Thanks to an honest firearms owner/shopper out there who did his research before making a purchase things are moving forward with this.

When there is a final outcome I'll ask permission to update this with details, or have the owner do so.
