Has anyone else been loving the weather so far this summer?  Not too hot not too cold but just right.  I wish the weather was like this every summer.

except for the fact it started too late.  Tons of farmers are hurting right now because of it...

I'm enjoying it. As usual, it'll be too short lived. Luckily I don't mind the rain.

I like the rain and cool weather too which is why I am liking this summer.  Usually it seems like we get about couple weeks of really warm weather (90*+) and about a month or so of above 80* weather but this summer it is just right and hovering around 75*-80* most of the time.  Perfect shooting weather (or anything else outside for that matter).

And there's a lot of fruit espeially that needs that couple of weeks we usually get that are in the mid-90's to low 100s.  Peaches come to mind.  This year's peach crop is a disaster.  On the upside, my electricity bill is lower than it's been in years since the A/C isn't kicking on at 10:00 am and staying on until I go to bed.

This has easily been the worst summer in Portland I've seen in the 16 years I've lived here.

Makes me want to me move.

I've been loving the weather this summer as well. I work outside most of the time and much prefer cool weather for working.

Yes, you should probably move if its summer and you're whining.  You need to change something.

Because of the weather or are there other factors in that statement?

If you like long stretches of sweltering hot weather I think you are in the wrong part of the country.  Personally I had enough of the hot weather when I lived in Texas, there were days when it was not even worth it to go anywhere because it was so damn hot out, as soon as you walked outside you were pouring sweat.  That is a large part of why I moved to this area, I like the cool weather and not having 6 month long sweltering summers.

Maybe hes a hardcore Oregonian and misses the rain.  Summer's always getting in the way of a 12 month downpour.

The weather is perfect, and the least of our worries.

This has been a great summer, one that you will fondly remember as the ice age approaches.

+1.

I was talking to a friend just the other day who was complaining about this summer's weather.  "Are you kidding?", I asked.  This has been a fantastic summer.  Not too hot, and not too cool.  I've even been enjoying the rare humidity of the last couple days.  Reminds me of the East Coast a bit (although they get it much worse.)

Above 80-85 I fucking LOATHE it, esp with anything above 50% humidity.
I was lucky with last summer the apartment complex last summer did a whole siding project we could not have ac units in the windows.
This year got a portable and did not have to plug it in and set up until 3 weeks after we got it.  The start this year was perfect and cool but I am silly as shit like that.

Considering moving to the coast/coast range by next year and enjoying it for the weather.

I love the heat.  Which has been lacking this summer.

Half tempted to move back to Texas.
