The reviews don't lie the guy is an asshat and charges way to much for stuff yet people still buy from him. Go there and ask for a glock and see how he shits a brick and then tries to sell you an 800$ sigma instead.

I see you recently joined. Over the years there have been The Gun Room stories that would have made you laugh yourself out of your chair. Epic. I don't know how that guy stays in business.

There is another firearms site for the northwest that has a section specifically designated for customer reviews of gun stores.  The reviews of the Gun Room are very consistently horrible.  Although if you really aren't interested in buying anything, it is fun to ask the owner questions that poke up the fire.

He once told a friend of mine that the reason his Remington PSS rifles were hundreds of dollars more than anywhere else was because Remington used a special steel on the barrels they made for the rifles they shipped to only the Gun room.  Of course, that was an enormous load of crap, and my friend just laughed to himself and left.

The owner of Gun Room once told me that he couldn't understand why anyone would buy a gun at BiMart because they don't have a gunsmith on site. "You wouldn't buy a car from a dealer that didn't have a service department, would you?" I didn't bother telling him that all the gunsmiths I know will work on anyone's gun, regardless of where they bought them.

What amazes me is that the guy has managed to stay in the gun business forever.  I bought new pre "64 Winchesters from him when he worked at Foster Sporting Goods.
