Have any of you guys used Orkin?   Or do you know of some other companies in the Hillsboro area?  Looks like I have carpenter ants in my back storage shed.

We used them for a few years to kill the Hobo spiders  around the house, they did a good job.  Stay away from "The Killers" We had them for two years and no decrease in spiders or ants.  So I had my neighbor watch them from his house, three different guys, one showed up ate his lunch and walked up to the house and put the bill on my door. The other sat on his bumper smoking   talking on his cell then put the bill on my door, the last showed up walked around the house empty handed  wrote the bill then left.  When I called, the lady on the phone told me " I don't believe you,  I trust my employees when they said they have done the job, they have done the job"

That would have been a great time to say "Well the video my neighbor shot says otherwise"

I don't know if he's accepting new clients, but you might try Olympic Pest Control in Aloha.  The owner's name is Ray, and his number is 503-645-5556.

Before you go with one of the bigger names in the business like Orkin, you should give him a call.  He's one of the most honest people in the industry, and does great work.  He's a close friend of my wife's family, and I actually worked for him for few years as a pest control technician.  He's the only one I would trust for my own pest control needs.

I've heard the horror stories about "The Killers" for years.  It used to be they would just spray the houses with water rather than pesticide, but it sounds like they've improved their strategy a bit...
