The Keith's thread got me to thinking about the gun room. Has anyone been by there lately. I hear they are selling the shit out of glocks and AKs at rock bottom prices.
Some I hear are a dollar over cost. |

If they are selling glocks, I'd imagine that they come with a huge mouthful of "This piece of garbage....." and "I can't believe these are even legal to own with how horrible they are", when you shop at that place. Only went in once, and wasn't super impressed. |

I don't think he will ever carry glocks, since I was informed by him that god himself was working on smiting them from the earth since they had taken the hands of so many police officers. [not a direct quote]
So I doubt he's selling them now. Additionally nothing sold out of the gun room has ever been less than 10x cost so I doubt that as well. |

| Oh yes..... I was there about a year ago looking for an LCP. He shouted: "YOU MEAN THE LITTLE CRAPPY PISTOL?" He had one...at $425. I asked about Kel-Tec and I though he was going to shit himself. I got the LCP for $299 elsewhere in town the next day. He has a decent selection of reloading equipment/supplies, but I feel dirty just thinking about that place. |

I hadn't heard of this place until I read this thread. I googled the place, and read some really interesting reviews of the place. There are 42 posted reviews, and he rates a uniform one star. I'm tempted to go there just to say I have. I'll ask about a Kel-Tec sub2k... |

I've drove from Tualatin to Gresham to buy a gun from Keith's on more than one occasion. I've never bought even a box of 22LR from the Gun Room. Reason isn't CS, it's the exceedingly high prices and the very poor (and I might add unsolicited) advise / opinions from the sales staff there.
I do frequent the Gun Broker in Tigard from time to time. Never know what Gunk Ata has just dropped off

| The unsolicited advice I once recieved from the moron at the Gun Room years ago was that I was a fool for registering my Cobray Street Sweeper. I told him that I would be committing a felony if I failed to do that. He said I was stupid to register any gun with the Government. Went into a 20 minute tirade on the evils of following Government laws regarding firearms ownership ( Its classified as a Destructive Device thanks to Bill Clinton and his Treasury Secretary Lloyd M. Bentsen) I dont like the rules either, but dont wish to give up the gun or become a convicted felon if caught with an unregistered Destructive Device. I went ahead and ordered the part I originally went there for , but after I left I decided there was no way I could do business with a loser like that so I called and cancelled the order. Wont ever go back there again for any reason. |

When a friend of mine asked why his Remington PSS's were so much more expensive than everywhere else, he actually told him that it was because Remington uses a special steel in the barrels for the rifles they send him.
