FFL dealer debited my account for SBR on 061509. I understand it takes about 4-6 weeks for it to transfer from dealer to dealer. Should I expect to wait longer for my dealer to call, or should I start inquiring?

Form 4's to the ATF are running a little bit longer than 4-6 weeks right now...4 months is more the usual wait time at this point as they are over worked. |

Form3s are 4-6 weeks, Form4s are 6 months still.
I would be patient, it will be good practice for you waiting for your form 4 to clear. Here is my wait time as of now.... Form3 submitted: 03-25-09 Form3 arrives at FFL: 05-06-09 (6 weeks) Form4 CLEO sign-off submitted: 05-07-09 Form4 sent to ATF: FORM4 - delivered at 4:33 PM on May 17, 2009 in ATLANTA, GA 30353. Check Cashed: Form4: 05/20/09 Forms Returned: Form4: 6 months = November 28, 2009 from time of check cash by ATF |
