OK, ammo bitches here it is. 223/556 is beginning to show up at area gunshops but it is a little different so I have been on the internet to figure it out.
Federal XM193 is now called XM193F. The "F" stands for the manufacturing plant, Anoke, Minnesota. Allegedly the ammo is the same as before and replaces XM193 and XM193C. Winchester 3131a is being imported again and is available only now it is known as 3131A1 and it is not from Israel it is from Korea. Both brands of 223/556 ammo are available at Fisherman's Marine in Portland for $10/box of 20. I have not seen any chrono data on these rounds. |
