I'd bet Keith's out in Gresham has the best price for an XD, I hate to put his name out there, cause I personally think his service is terrible, but if the cheapest price is what you're looking for....  As for ammo? Prices have been rape lately, good luck finding reasonable prices..  5.56 is almost 50 cents a round on average, and I've seen .45 for almost $20 a box...

It's been my experience (3-4 times) when dealing with Keith himself, he's been very personable...his staff however.

+1

And the Gun Broker in Tigard does seem to have decent prices. I haven't really looked a pistol prices at Force Ten in Newberg but it's a fun shop.

I have found Bi-Mart to be the least expensive for 223 and 9mm (that is what I shoot most) There is a BiMart in Hillsboro on TV Highway and one on Farmington Road sort of in SW Beaverton

GunBroker in Tigard or clackamas might have them. Keiths as has been said, tends to have slightly cheaper prices, but factor in the schlep to Gresham in gas and time, and Gunbroker is probably your best bet.

Personally, with the exception of clay-game shotguns, I don't buy my firearms from anywhere else other than the Gunbroker, even if it means special orders and a nominal "store-front" tax.

Ammunition on the other hand is getting very difficult to obtain no matter where, unless you're buying spendy stuff, or Fudd calibers.
