Went to ARPC to the machine gun shoot.  Sometimes I volunteer as a range officer, but today I was just showing a friend around.

I've done some MG shooting before, so I didn't spend much money spraying lead down range.  However, I did spend $10 to shoot a nice M14 with a sweet leupold.

And, I spend $20 for a full magazine in a semi auto FS2000.  It had nice ergomomics, and felt good on my shoulder.  It was very 'pointable' and easy to hold steady.  It was light and seemed rugged enough.

I have to say, however, the trigger SUCKS.  Maybe I'm just used to my 2-stage AR trigger, but the FS2000 had a long hard pull, with no real indication when it would break.

Put a good trigger on it, and it would be a great rifle.

Ahh, the Achilles heel of bullpups!

SA-80, AUG, Bushmaster M17S, PS90 and now the FS2000. Long transfer bars seem to be the curse of such mechanical triggers. :-(

I wish I could have gone down there for that.  Sounds like fun.

I like mine, I would let you dump a few mags through it if you bring you own ammo.

+1

Let me know if you want to shoot mine.

Plus - shorter than my 10.5" AR15 SBR.  Balance is awesome.  Points very well.

Con - The trigger.  It's better than a AK, but nothing close to a NM 2 stage AR trigger.  The mags don't drop free.  Gotta rip and strip 'em.

Personally, I think I'll sell mine and get an can for my Wison.
