I'd like to see a threaded 45 XD. I've been looking at that setup myself. I have a HK Tac-45 which I haven't had the time to shoot yet.

If you want to go out and try out the HK with your can....let me know.

HK Tac is already threaded the ghey euro backwards threads.... unless your can is threaded for it, i'd nix that from the list.

The 45 cal. AR seems pretty pimp, I'd do that.  SBR as well...

I have a .45 ACP SBR upper if ya want to have a go with it to see if it's truly pimp. Its threaded 5/8" 24tpi if that works with yer can.

I think Ive gotta go XD. I go with the mob.  
Its my cheapest option at this point  Money is mainly a concern becuse I made a list of gun projects Im currently working on and its thousands$$$ long, getting more expensive every day

I will get a tactical barrel from pistolgear.com and have mike at tornado tech thread it.  I will swap boosters, or just buy a new one from TROS.  the current threads on the can are HK.

Looks sweet!  Goin with the XD is the less expensive option.  You could always acquire other hosts when funds permit!

I just ordered a SWR HEMS 2 for my HK tac.  Also have my first MG coming!  Damn waiting sucks..

Use something else. Glock 21 is easy to get off-the-shelf threaded barrels for.

What happened?  Regardless, it doesn't mean much.  Someone else could say not to buy Glock because they had a KB.  Crazy shit can happen.  IMO the HK Tac is about the best .45 suppressor host out there.

BPH, sorry about the hijack.
Like I said before, I'm happy with the Glock 21 with a LW threaded barrel for my can.
It may be more of a hassle to thread your XD barrel - I'm not aware of any off-the-shelf threaded barrels available for the XD, but I could be wrong.
