from Randy's monthly email: Our regular monthly match for January is Saturday the 12th at 0900 hours. New shooters will be assigned mentors. Sign-up is in the action range Stat Shack from 0830-0900 hours. We will have a class for those wishing to become trained as Practical Rifle Range Officers on Sunday, January 13th, from 1000-1400 hours. Class space is limited so contact me as soon as possible if you want in! Please prepare for our Annual Sniper Match in February! Normally there's a class for tyros at exactly 730am, but I'm not sure if there will be a class this time. cudaterry, acword4play or blueswarrior can confirm the status. By the email, it seems like it contemplates newbies. Have fun guys! Next PR for me will be March. |
It could be over anywhere from 2-5 in the afternoon, just depends. No long orentation but new shooters should be there by 0830 and tell someone who is working, gate code for the match ONLY is 223308 Round count could be under 40 but have at lest 100, more if you miss alot under pressure. No pistol or shotgun. You need a case and chamber flag ( flags are available at the match), Soft cases are a little faster to use, please don't keep all your stuff in the rifle case if you can help it so the score keeper, who is carrying your bag is spared. Plan on mud and rain, bring an extra set of shoes if you want to keep your interior clean. Everyone should feel free to show up early to help with set-up. We have four stages half set-up with a run and gun, and a mover stage. |
