Yeah, posted my setup experience with the Lee Pro1000 over in the reloading forum. A little frustrating at times, but I think I have a good idea of what I need to do to get things working smoothly.

Looks great.  I'm debating about getting one in .223.  Now I know where to go to get mine up and working (NAPA in Philomath) If I get one.

I'm gonna get one for .223 later, but I'm gonna modify it a little. Since I still have my singles, I'll tumble-size-tumble with the single, and prime with the hand prime. I'll pull the sizer die out of the turret, and put my FCD in its place. That way, I can fill the tubes with primed brass, then charge-seat-crimp on the progressive.

Youo need to do the upgrades that Biglizard has done.   He will send you pics if needed.  I saw the pics ans they look awesome.  That is what I will do when I get mine.  He has made it so that it " WORKS '" and he does not have as many flip out rounds.

Yep, pics. I'd like to see how you set yours up. Well, a liberal lubing with dry graphite helped smooth things a bit, but still have a primer feed quirk. But, I did do 200 rounds of .40 in only about 35-40 minutes

Well I will say that my pics arent great and they are not  of a press set up since my dillon arrived but... hopefully they help

Interchangeable base for my countertop

Modified shell eject arm, I found the silly screw never worked right

Tired of jamming completed shells so I got out the saw
Especially important with cast loads in my 45 colt
(topheavy and would cam over the side instead of down the ramp)

Extra drop chute neccesary after the trim with the saw.
No the cases dont get derailed as they travel down.
Future plans include threading the additional rod so it is not so dependant on the exact angle.
I have done this modification to three of these.
This particular one with the extra ramp has loaded about 4K of 45 colt.
The uncut one fist pictured has about 5K of 45 acp and some 9mm
My lube of choice for the ram is ATF.
