It's coming down pretty good here in Eugene. Real big flakes. It's sticking to the streets and parking lots too. About a quarter, maybe half inch of accumulation already.

just came down off 600 ASL off a hill on the other side of Banks OR. and it was colled-off quick. I also saw some little flakes mixing with the rain as I was parked up there.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A SNOW
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST THIS EVENING.

THE SNOW LEVEL IN THE SOUTH WILLAMETTE VALLEY HAS LOWERED TO
AROUND 500 FEET WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 1 INCH ABOVE 500
FEET SO FAR THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING
WITH AN ADDITIONAL 1 INCH ABOVE 500 FEET. AREAS BELOW 500 FEET MAY
GET SOME SNOW BUT ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN AN
INCH. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF AFTER 9 PM.

You must be closer to downtown than me. I am out west by barger and greenhill. When we were at the hospital it was coming down great. We got home and it was just rain. It really sucks, I wanted the kid to be albe to play..

Thermometer says 35 degrees, it's "dry" enough for snow to stick, alas, no snow in ~~teh ghetto~~ Salem at 1AM.

It hasn't been snowing here since around 6:30 or 7pm, but most of the snow that did fall is still on the ground and cars. Was driving around earlier and the thermo in my Jeep was hovering between 33 and 34.

Went west on hwy 20 this morning. Just out of Philomath it was coming down hard! The road was covered. Made for a slow trip over to the river. Last trip over we drove on ice almost the whole way. Im beginning to to wonder if those damn Steelhead are worth it.
