Anybody here ever try one of these or actually use one now?

Seems to me like they would be very uncomfortable.

I try to avoid any method of carry that REQUIRES 2 hands to draw, and I'm not a big fan of cross-draw either.    As far as that holster tucks down the pants it would be incredibly difficult to draw while grappling with an assailant, especially since it takes 2 hands.

I have one and have been using it for a while. It is pretty comfortable but with my size it prints pretty well. If your skinier it would work better. I like the fact that it is completly below the belt. I carry a G23 in it. I will be purchasing a different carry rig soon as I think I can find one that will work better for my size. I wear it cross draw as I prefer to carry that way.

Witht the weight I've been loosing it also tends to want to pull the belt down no matter how tight I set the belt. I'm not sure a different rig mite not do the same.

Were you wearing it at the shoot Nox? I noticed you had what appeared to be a pager and wanted to ask why the crap you had a pager but never did.

dunno why, but I have always had this thing against carrying a handgun anywhere near my junk.  Not that I am bad at drawing my carry gun, more of an insurance thing.

How do you like the SmartCarry?  I was just looking at those earlier today as well.

Works pretty good.  Wear relaxed fit pants and most medium autos don't print.  I have mine sized for a G23, but usually carry a Kahr PM9 in it.  Hard to tell it's there.

Couple downsides: When I sit down, sometimes I get a "Pinch" .  Also, it takes some time to tuck shirts in so they don't look stupid if you do it the recommended way.

If you get one, I recommend asking for one a couple inches larger in the waist, since they don't seem to give much to spare.

All in all, I think it's a great holster for very concealed carry.

Yes I was.

Looks like it is a pretty slick design. However, it is a little too close the junk........not that I have that much to worry about.

I have, however, solved my concealed carry woes with this: C.T.A.C. Holster

I really like how I can tuck in my shirt and still carry in the summer time. It was uncomfortable at forst but once I found the right height and position to carry at it is great. Just have to get pants and shorts a size bigger.

Ah, my other holster choice.  I find it prints too much when I tuck my shirt in, but besides, that it is an excellent holster.
