Hey no-hair, Pat Or anyone? I just bought a vector PTR 51 minus the trigger pack. Looking online for a trigger pack and have found many, but I just want to check. I CAN use any trigger pack (i.e. 91, 93, ....) ![]() thaks for the input. |

Yes , you just need any HK 90 series trigger pack , then change the ejector to the right caliber - 7.62 - and mabey the hammer spring. You can modify a full auto pack with a small amount of work, I'll tell you if you are interested. Look on the boards a real HK semi-auto pack should run you $175-$225. You may check with Vector , they may sell you a pack for less? Congrats. NoHair |

What about a F/A pack? would this alone make it an illegal machine gun? www.hkparts.net/Pictures/91%20G3%20PTR/Used%20HK%20g3%20trigger%20pack%20complete.JPG this is a used HK F/A trigger pack for $85 I just love that the F/A is cheaper then the Semi-auto. or is it just used vs. new? |
You can get a complete lower from RTG for $129. |

A full auto trigger pack needs modification to fit onto a semi-shelf and also to make it semi-only. HK's are funny in that you can legally own the FA bolt carrier and trigger pack, but the pack you cannot modify to fit the shelf unless it is converted to SA only. I believe it is something a 'smith should do and probably not worth the money over buying a semi one from the get-go. I would post a WTB on Sturm and HKpro. |
![]() ![]() Thought we went over it, you must still have been thinking of the FIREBALL when I was talking to you, hahaha ![]() Yes, we can modify a FA to semi, but as a Civilian, if you modify one to work FULL-AUTO in that gun, YOU go to jail without passing go, and no $200 involved. All we need to do is get the PIN, and sear spring for this pack I have, but knowing my schedule, I figures it would be FASTER for you to just find a pack. Pat |
I know it doesn't make any difference to you CAPE, but those at RTG have the NAVY handgrip, NO THUMB SHELF I have almost bought these a couple time, then seeing that, I'll stick to the MP5/53 lowers, or an original 91/G3. Pat |
Funny, couple years ago everyone wanted the navy lowers. Now you act like they are lame ![]() Dork. |
