took the father in law out to CVSC to do some shooting today. had a good time and learned a thing or too and improved on some relatively new skills (thanks camo ken). lessons of the day: 1.) when someone says after checking out your gun and trigger, "hey, you should try firing mine". Don't. Just gonna end up wanting to spend more $$ on guns you probably already spent too much $$ on. 2.) Still now where near 5" MOA open sight at 100yds, but I still rock it at 25yds. Did manage to accidently nail the dead center of the target at 100yds tho, still cant figure that one out.3.) having a 2mo old in the house leave little time for excercise making for a shaky time trying to shoot a M1 Garand standing. 4.) Shooting many rounds through the M1 Garand on a shoulder that just got all healed up from a bike wreck does not make for a happy shoulder. Tomorrow shall suck. 5.) I love people that dont want their once fired brass 6.) they make police issue hand cuffs that are pink, who knew. |
