... do people give their names, phone numbers and copies of their instructor credentials to the Sheriff to be included on the list of CHL instructors for the county if they have no intention of accepting clients? I get call after call from people who have called every number on the list and get no answer, or some reply to the effect that they are no longer doing these courses. Either we want people to have CHLs and are prepared to help them get them, or we are not. If not, get your **** name off the list! Unfortunately, I suspect that will leave only me .... |

They do it just to piss you off!  Really though. I jumped through all the hoops, got my creds and ready to teach when I realize I bit off way more than I can chew. I still think teaching would be a lot of fun, but I’m just not able to make the commitment to it. Don’t worry, my name and phone number aren’t on the list. |
