Original manufacure needs to be engraved....thats not you, that would be bushmaster, colt, mega, etc.....which is already on the lower. Many people do not believe it is required. |

So, what do you want to know about Moly-Coating? Brownell's sells some nice Oven-Bake, aerosol can, stuff. But I have had better luck with John Norrell's and a cheap air brush. (Don't use his "AIR-DRY", it is too GLOSSY, and runs bad) Pat |

this was posted in the Class 3 forum... EDITED TO ADD: As WS says, there are letters going both ways. The prudent thing to do would be to either get a letter from ATF addressed to you personally that says you do not need to engrave your name/city/state, or just engrave it. If it's a SBR AR, engraving would be far simpler since you can always sell the SBR upper and keep the lower (since it didn't cost that much anyway).
