Just a reminder about tactical tomorrow.  Set-up 0900.

I mostly make this reminder so that I can mooch off someone for their carbine.

BTW, Rose's tomorrow???

Yeah, that is weird but I got an email from the guy running it saying it would be the 28th of January.

Oh well, guess I'll head down there and C if it's on.

Sorry I forgot that Tactical is not shot by a lot here at ARFCOM.  It is at TCGC in the action pits and involves shooting pistols, shotgun, and pistol caliber carbines.  However, the carbine stages are set-up so someone with a pistol can shoot them.  The only catch is that you must be IPSC certified to participate.

Sorry for the confusion.

Sort of like three gun but short range? Did they have it today?
I'm interested in coming out and watching.

The IPSC cert? Is that the same as the Cert for the pistol pits at Tri-County?

I might try it out once I get IPSC certified in February.  Sounds like fun.  Heck, anything that involves shooting is fun!

It is short range (i.e. up to 50 yards) and is like 3-gun but without the people that game it and is low key.  I liken it most to speed steel but with movement and three guns.  Any yes, there are multi-gun stages.  It is definitely a blast.  Set-up is 9am and we are usually done by 1pm.  So it isn't an all day thing like PR.

4th Sunday of the month all year long.  Come on out!!!

P.S. As long as you have and sticker certifying you to use the action range you are good to go.  Also, the pistol is always under concealment kinda like IDPA.
