I bought a pair of ESS Goggles back in late 2004. Goggles come with two lenses, a smoke lens and a clear lens. I took the goggles overseas a year ago, and I'm taking them over again this week. The smoke lens had some stress fractures in the middle, like where they may have been squashed or something. I call up ESS, and ask them if it's possible to replace them. They say "Send them back and we'll take a look". So I mail them off, they get them, and tell me they are outside the warranty (there's a 2003 datestamp on the lens). However, since I didn't know, they're sending me not only a lens, but an entire new pair of goggles back to me. I asked them if they'll be here by Wednesday, as I'm leaving to the AOR Friday morning, and said "no, because we're using UPS Ground, but I'll change the shipping to Second Day Air for you". That's service. |

Thank you for the kind words, it really means a lot to me. It's a boost everytime I hear it to keep doing this stuff. Almost everything is all taken care of. Just gotta pack a couple bags, get a couple things from supply, and probably run down to NW Armory for a flashlight mount or something. Thanks again :) |
