I bought my first 6 of mirco seasonal, Pyramid Snow Cap.  3/4 done with my first and I'm starting to buzz.  I check the label, 7%

"Smooth.  Drink it while you can because when the snow's gone so's the Snow Cap."

That is all....

Go for some Duvel.   Dutch beer (or is it Belgian?).  8% IIRC.

Good stuff.

Munk, I'm glad that when you think of beer, you think of Hartmann  But I didn't recommend the Snow Cap (or did I and I just can't remember)?!

McEwans Scotch Ale

8.5% I beleive, malty yummy goodness.....

The Liberator Brew Pub on Sandy and 202nd ( if it's still there....) has one called "Scottish", buddy of mine was the brewmaster that came up with the recipe, stuff rocks! Been FOREVER since I've been out that way though.

The last time I was there, they had a LAN set up, drink beer and play Counter-Strike.....oh the memories...

I agree with you there. Nice and stout, but without the bitterness. Smooth.....

My brother recommended it to me.  Knowing Hartmann is our official HTF beer snob, I titled this thread to him.

Bottoms up!

I love my Oregon beer, we have some great stuff here.  The only problem is that my roomate got a kegerator for his graduation and we just so happen to have a friend who works at Widmer.  Lately since we only pay $60 a keg from him we have only been drinking Broken Halo and Drop Top.  Its all good beer so its not a big deal but now I just don't go out and see the new beer often.
