I shot a deer in the head with my glock 21 this week...  anyone got a problem with that?    

(it got hit by a car, its back was broken)

I HATE RATTLESNAKES!

When I was in Azarona we used to see em all the time. People would get bit while at the local parks (undeveloped rock piles in the middle of town), we would see them while out shooting all the time, see em in washes going through the middle of a neighborhood. All over the place. Rattle snakes are what pushed me over the edge to build stumpy. Everybody needs s sawed off 12ga for rattlers.

The worst were scorpions though.

You just don't have much luck with the animal lovers do you?  Personally I think if you are going to spend the time to train a dog its not worth getting them bit because someone wanted to save a species that doesnt need saving.

Thank you Noshow, I will be.  I really am not terribly brave around them.  I like the idea of a stick.  I hope to be able to toss them in an ice chest with ice water quickly!  My husband will reach down and pick one up but I sure won't.

There were a few different houses I lived in in Tempe that were infested with Scorpions.

Wake up in the morning, think you see something on the ceiling, rub the eye boogers out of your eyes and take another look. Sure enough, a scorpion on the ceiling right above the bed.

Damn good thing you practiced that one hand shooting at PR last week.  :)

I popped an Elk with my G27 - same situation, down with a broken back (from a .308, not a Buick)

We had some tourons here try and give CPR to a car struck deer.....
