Finally here. 4,500+ mile drive down from AK without major issue, working on a place to rent, but we are here.
Now if somebody would just turn on the a/c

We ended up actually in Norcross  looks to be a "nice" part of town, so we shall see. It'll give me an easy (5min) commute to work so I don't go crazy right away.
Of course once we move in, we will immediately start looking at where we may want to buy. Slightly different than Alaska need to get used to people again. And traffic 
But it's all good so far. Supposed to move in early next week to the rental, then get the place in order so I can get all my gear back up and running. Looks like I need to wait 90 days for resident status for hunting. Need to see about concealed license as well. Then should be good to go! We're optimistic and excited to check out the state, along with surrounding areas. Lots of potential fun to be had. |
