Do you guys know anything about Sigs line of optics. I am interested in their LRF which seems to be getting good reviews. Also there scopes seem to have good feature sets although who knows who is actually making them

I have heard good things about their LRF.

Saw quite a few go down at Mammoth Sniper Challenge this year, but I think all electronics suffer in extreme cold.

I've got a Kilo 2000 and no complaints. I've ranged cows and people out to 1000, trees at 1200+, road signs, vehicles, and buildings out to 2500 yards.

For the money you wont find a better LRF.

I am a fan of Athlon Optics. I have a 4.5-27x50 I'm very happy with it. It passed the box test is holding zero and is very clear.

If it is made in Japan it is contracted from Light Optical Works (LOW).

If it is made in the Philippines, it is Asia Optical aka ScoPro.

ScoPro makes the Viper PST line. At best they do a mid-range line but also some cheap crap. Lots of Burris and Nikon stuff comes from ScoPro.

LOW makes the Nightforce NXS SFP scopes and Vortex's Razor Line.   They are considered a premium contract manufacturer.

Sig has some sort of ties with Minox out of Oregon for design purposes.
