Has anyone had any bad dealings with Clyde Armory in Athens? Reason why I am asking I put a Aimpoint T-2 Red dot sight on layaway that I'm getting out this Thursday. I called three days ago and left couple of messages on the persons voice mail box to call me back with the remaining balance with shipping and taxes included so far no one has called me back. Today I called and spoke with someone there this morning and he claimed he was trying to find the person I had to deal with but all I got was a voice mail again. They have my down payment they needed for my layaway. Any helpful ideas. |

Never had a bad dealing, but not surprised that they are disorganized and the person you call has no idea.
It's just a local gun shop. They sell a ton of shit but there's not a layaway desk like a Wally World. You can try asking for Andrew Clyde if you keep getting railroaded. |
| I bought a machine gun from there last year. They were good about calling me to inform me when they got their form 4 back so I could start the purchase. After that it was impossible trying to get ahold of someone. They never returned calls. They have a few guys that have been there a while and always have new sales guys in that don't know what's going on. Just try to talk to a sales manager. Most of the older guys are pretty good people |

The guy I have to deal with is Matt he claims I have to deal with him only. Cody tried helping me find the guy but he didn't have much luck doing so. It just feels like I get the run around when speaking to someone or they won't listen what I have to say. I'm going to call tomorrow (Monday) and speak to a manager and tell him or her the issue I am experiencing hopefully they'll help me out. |

I worked there a few years back and it was even the case back then. Good luck trying to call and actually speak to Andrew as well, thats a joke. They roll through so many employees that I cant even recommend someone there to talk to honestly. Best of luck. |

I finally received a phone call from Matt today he apologized and told me what I needed to know and told me when the best time for me to call in and reach him. |
