I picked up an older XT225 dual sport bike, where do I need to go ride? And who wants to ride with me? |

You might want to mention the area you live in. You probably don't want to traverse the state on that bike.

Its a 97, so old bike. I paid $800 and it came with a spare engine. But I had to rebuild the carb and replace the front brake caliper (easy stuff). That's not bad. Not sure about rebuilding engine parts, but I'm sure I could probably figure it out. I think my kids would enjoy 2-up riding some easy trails. The problem would be arguing over who gets to go. My wife also has her license, but hasn't been in the saddle except as a passenger since getting it.

When I used to ride that was the go-to forum and had some of the best bike guys that I have met in person. |
