| Who was the guy that sold the steel targets? I need one the size of a small silhouette. |
| Have you checked out what Rob at TacStrike has to offer? I've got several buddies that own a lot of his targets and they rave about them. |

I've shot his targets, solid stuff http://www.moatargets.com |

In AR500 it's usually 1/2". Sometimes if it's AR550 it's will be 3/8".
I have some of both and they work equally well. Most of mine are 1/2" AR500, I believe. I've shot .300WM on mine at 50yds and further, and .338 Lapua at 300yds and further. If they're AR500/550 and the targets are free to move when hit, they'll take a helluva hit and be just fine. |

A friend of mine is making some targets. He's north of Gainesville. He's come up with a pretty nifty means of hanging the targets from a T post like you'd use in the garden.
Here's a link to his site. CRM His site isn't up to date. He's using AR500 now and has tested it with a 338 Lapua at 25 yards with no damage. His prices and current offerings are not reflected on the site. If you're interested, give him a ring. |

.
The guy I shoot with in North Carolina has a bunch of the 10 inch 3/8 AR500 Bullseye Gong Targets that give you a three inch Bullseye and a 10 inch circle to hit. They seem to be holding up well as one would expect from AR500 Steel. The company is Shooting Targets 7 dot com. Speaking of metal, anybody know anything about hardened 3/8s and half inch Steel Diamond Plate as far as stopping rifle calibers. Not looking to stop a 50 cal, but I have access to some sheets of this and was wondering if it is effective in stopping 7.62X39, 308, and other similar rifle calibers. |
