Is anybody willing to take on a small project?

I need a couple plates made out of steel.

I've decided to do a but of upgrading to my truck. But I need to get these plates made to install the engine properly.

Thanks guys for any suggestions or steering me to a shop.

My advice would be to find a good aircraft mechanic that has access to a large box brake. Putting that bend in 0.50" aluminum will be the most difficult part. And depending on the alloy, it may take two pieces of 0.50" material stacked to get the proper bend radius to prevent cracks in your part. I don't even have access to a box brake of that size.

The rest looks simple enough to lay out and drill up.

Try posting this in the aviation forum as well. Lots of skill guys in there that may help you out.

He says he wants them made out of steel.

Steel. The bend can be done with a stacked plate and weld. I'm not worried about being pretty as once it's in you'll never see it again. Also in steel it only has to be 3/8 not half inch.

Yes I'm installing a five liter in my ranger. The stock three liter is giving nothing but trouble. I found an explorer to donate it's heart to the project but I need to get these plates to do the job easily.

I have installed a v-8 in a ranger . I did a 4 cylinder which is a bolt in with no plates . I know a place that can make the plates , they do mainly stainless fabrication

I can make these plates for you but need more legible drawings, especially for the last 2 to be able to offer a quotation. My first thought on the passenger side mount is to make it from 1 piece of material instead of all those small parts, I can make chips quicker than I can make all those little pieces and weld them together properly.

If you have better copies of the drawings send me an email.

I can quote it as well . . . we do a ton of small automotive projects.  Billet stainless exhaust flanges/aluminum intake flanges, alternator brackets, titanium lug nuts, etc.

whats with the 2 different prints?

I'm assuming since its steel that you want the bottom two and not the top print since it's from aluminum?

Sure! I'm slipping one in from a Ford explorer that with the exception of these plates will drop right in.

I'll look for some better plans.

Yes the bottom two from steel.

Thanks guys

If these are engine mounts, Advance Adapters sells them for $108.00  Might be the easiest way,  5.0 into a Ranger.
