I LOVE it when we get these little demon seeds in.
They sound like an espresso machine that is out of control and they rock back and forth while shaking their heads side to side like they are possessed. Anyways they are victims of a storm related nesting failure when the Oak tree they were in split in half and it destroyed the cavity. I constructed a Barn Owl nest box and we will be placing them and the nest box back in what's left of their tree tomorrow. Tonight they are being fed well and are being treated for parasites to help ease the stress and give them a better chance.
