I just finished mounting up the scope on this stick last night. The whole deal was all trades, and from selling off a few things I no longer loved. :)
Thanks to those who answered my questions on FN SPR's, and Vortex scopes, and the HTF'er that traded me the rings. :) I am looking forward to a day off, and some fair winds. By the way, this is my first nice bolt gun. If there is something odd looking, let me know.

What ammo do you have lined up for the trial run? EDIT: BTW, very nice, indeed. I think 168 grain Federal Gold Match should be good for checking in out and breaking it in. It is unfired, other than factory, so probably more cleaning than shooting. Then I can start working through my handloads, I had a few loads that worked really well in a 24 inch LR308, and still have a few bags full of those, but we will see. |
