anyone got any dealings with these guys? Im liking the party shoot for a funday meet n greet or something!!

I went and checked out the range in mid January. I usually drive an hour in the other direction to shoot at hanahatchee wma, soww would be 20 minutes closer for me.
I will keep driving to Richland. There were two ranges open when I went. One was a covered pistol range with probably 12 lanes. The rifle range only had one plastic table on a concrete pad for shooters. The pistol range had standing water from about 20 yards and beyond from the firing line( no recent heavy rain). Rifle range had no grass, so it would be a muddy hike to your targets and back. Honestly I believe I will keep driving to Hannahatchee. Soww was a mud whole the day I was there and I believe that in the future it may be a great place but for now it needs some improvements. If you are looking for a club to organize a meet and greet I would take a look at East Alabama Gun Club. $250.00 for a year member ship at soww $20.00 for Hanahatchee annual WMA pass. Hannatachee is a nice place for a public range; really worth the drive. SOWW was mediocre at best. YMMV |
