So this is a two part question:

1. Anyone have any experience with an Accu-Wedge or similar product?  If so, please spill your guts here.

2. Are these available locally anywhere?

Bonus Question: What's more cuddly a baby duck or a baby bunny?

In my experience accuwedges don't cure OCD.

Use an O-ring

Bunny is more cuddly till I roll over on it by accident, then it becomes stew.

I cut a foam earplug in half, and put it under the pin. Same effect. Learned from my brother.

Ditto the earplug. Except the soft plugs I use do not have to be cut in half, I use a whole one.

I doubt that it really helps my accuracy much if any, but it does cure that annoying slop/rattle that most upper/lower fits have a tiny bit of.

Thank for offering but I'm rarely in that area.

The O-ring will work fine, but will eventually break while pivoting the rifle open and closed (all of mine did, after a while).  The earplug works fine too.  Either of those, or the accu-wedge will take out the slop between receivers.   None will actually affect accuracy though, as the barrel, bolt, and sighting system all are on the upper receiver.

Just learn to love your rattle.  :)

I make my own out of cutting boards that way they fit perfect and tight.

The ones they sell are to spongy and just don't seem to work as good as these.  Just takes a little time and patience to make them once and your through.

Oh, that wifey may not approve of me destroying one of her cutting boards.  Screw it I'm in.

Sig fixed this problem on their rifles with a spring loaded pin that contacts the upper. I like the idea and it works it makes it a @#%&@#@$%&@%@# to the the take down pin out. I dont think I want it on mine...
