Here's a little sculpture we put together from some old rusty precision measuring tools that came in with a lot of tools and materials that were purchased from a recently closed 40+ year old business.
I don't know how long the business was actually open, but the guy I bought this stuff from was the son of the man that started it, and he's worked there for over 40 years, basically since he was in his teens. Seeing some of the finished parts and drawings made from old school methods was really neat, but hearing the stories of what lead to the company's downfall was rough
