Hey man,

I saw that you guys are holding an armorers course here soon. Since you guys seem to have plenty of time I was wondering if Paul may, by some chance, have had a couple of hours  to dedicate to threading my 22/45.  I dropped my gun off in October 2011 I believe,  I wasn't in a hurry but close to two years is a bit much.

I'm sorry to have to put this out in a public forum, but I have called Paul several times and even sent a copy of an FFL to ship it to since I no longer live in the state of GA.

There's gotta be more to the story, right?

There is not much more to it.  At this point I just want my gun back.

I will add that I have never met Scott.  But dealing with his brother has gotten me nowhere.

Hope this gets resolved quickly. 2 years is more than a "bit much"

No response.  I have tried to be civil with Centerfire Precision. I have been promised by Paul that the work would be done shortly and it has not happened yet.  I have been assured that he would ship the gun down to me and have even sent two copies of an FFL to send it to.

At this point I just want my gun.

Wow,  might time to call the police.  I sent Scott a link to this thread.  Not sure if he has seen it yet.

Based on what the OP has posted, this is a civil dispute/customer service issue.  He posted that he gave his pistol to them to have work done to it. That work hasn't been done.  Nothing has been posted to indicate a crime has been committed.

At what point does it become theft?

Another htf member dealt with a similar issue to this.  Gunsmith was in south ga.  It was resolved in several days after a call to the local ATF office.  Gunsmith returned their VM.

I seem to remember that one.

OP, I hope you get your gun back. 2 years is a long time

I have no knowledge of this but I will talk to him.
I agree 2 years is way too long.
