Supposed to be one coming to Augusta in Spring 2014 as well-just announced this morning
Cabelas in Augusta Strangely, just yesterday it was announced that a Bass Pro is supposed to be here (Augusta area) in 2015 Bass Pro in Augusta |
| Been in the Bass Pro at Myrtle Beach a few times and the prices were too high for me. Most things I find on the net the cheapest even shipped. Not sure if Bass Pro has it but I think Cabelas lets you order on the net with no shipping fee in store pick up. That might save me a little even after the tax is added to it. Don't see how Augusta will ever support all these sporting goods stores at once. Got to wonder in what order they will close up after a while. |

Sweet. They are building the Bass Pro Shop in Acworth and now Cabelas in Woodstock. They will be about 10 miles of each other and I am with in 10 minutes north of Acworth in the Cartersville area. Nice. There is a Cabelas going in Acworth, where is the BPS going? |

There is a Cabelas going in Acworth, where is the BPS going? According to what I read, Emerson. Also planned to open in 2014... http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/real_talk/2012/12/bass-pro-shops-lands-at-bartow-county.html So both will be within about 10 minutes of each other. |

Get off the exit, turn left, and it's up the road a bit on the left. It's going to be part of a larger outdoor sporting complex thing. They're already clearing land. -bob |
