| I have some neighbors that like to drop in unannounced at random times which is starting to get a little aggravating. I was going to buy a system but none seem to have all the features I would like. Does anyone have a good recommendation? My driveway is about 200 yds long and I need a loud alarm tone. How hard is it to make your own? |

If the image changes it sends an email with 6 pictures to my phone. Outside of that you could easily set up a door bell with an IR sensor( passive alarm style) . |

This is the one that I bought for my parents. It works good. You can have up to 4 different alerts. They use 2. One sensor is about 500 feet away and works great. They found that there is a lot more roaming wildlife around. It will alert on Deer and dogs. |

| I have been using them for years most are under $50 and batteries last months. The best type by far is the infrared heat sensing so wind blowing leaves, etc in front don't set it off, mine has a 400 ft range from the transmitter to receiver and has low & high (loud) settings amazon is a good place to start, sportsmansguide, carries them, and frys does too. |
