They apparently take it very seriously. Not even the cops can have a full 30 rounder. http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/6442/20130419t215139z1765545.jpg Honestly, if 30's are banned but 20's are legal it would be refreshing to see a case where the police are not above the law. If that is the case here, they should be thanked (though it is sad to think we have actually come to a point where we have to thank the police for following the law). |

Honestly I prefer a 20rd mag. If and when my 30rd 10 pack of magpuls comes in I'm going to offer them for trade for straight 20rd magpuls. Maybe I'll find a taker. I have a couple of the straight 20-round Pmags and I like them, but from what I understand those have been discontinued and replaced with a curved 20 which I haven't tried. Looks like nothing more than a shortened Pmag 30, so I guess they'll be fine, just don't look right.
Probably a shit-ton of the straight 20s out there so I'm sure they'll be available for a while. Not fond of curved 20s but my experience with them is limited to metal mags. The old USGI straight 20s are, and always will be, my favorite AR mag. |
