| Can anybody tell where to get primer, powder, and bullets for 223 reloading around the Augusta or Savannah area. Or where online that I can look. Thanks RC |
| Local places can be a hit or miss, and most often when 223 components are in stock, they're gone as soon as they hit the shelves. You may try your luck with a gunshow but dont be surprised for jacked up prices. Your best bet would be to keep an eye in this thread which is where I had some luck attaining bullets, powder, and primers at this time. |

For bullets, set up accounts at Midway, Midsouth Shooters Supply, Powder Valley, Wideners, Grafs, etc and set them up to notify you when things come in. I just received 5k 77gr .224 bullets from Wideners (special runs for Wideners, no idea who actually manufactures them) the other day, but had to wait a while to get the notification they were in stock. You can do the same thing with primers and powder, but hazmat fees will probably eat you alive unless you can fill an entire 48lb order. I lucked out and found two pounds of AA2200 at Pannells the other day. Haven't seen primers in a while, I've got a good stash of primed 5.56, but only about 1k small rifle primers to start loading 6.8 with. |
