OK guys how do you store your ammo stock piles.  As my ammo inventory grows I am running out of room on my book shelf in the closet to hold much more so I need a new way of thinking.  Here is my current set up.

And yes I know I have a very very small stock but hey I was dumb stocked up really good then shot it up with out replenishing it like a moron.

I use one of those stack on gun cabinets. That way it is lockable. More from the smash and grab type add there isn't much security in those thin metal cabinets but better then nothing.

Mine is in ammo cans in a stack-on gun safe. As a side bonus it makes the cheap safe near impossible to move.

You know you could always bolt it down as it was designed...

Put it all on a very small boat in a very large lake and pray that you don't have a tragic boating accident like I did.

Ammo cans here.  They are generally inside of a locked room.

Ammo cans with three or four little desiccant packs in each.  And I found out they do not float when I lost everything in the tragic boating accident.  They are were stored in a closed concrete room with A/C to keep it cool and dry.  Cool and dry, and it will last forever.  Until it sinks to the bottom of Allatoona, damnit.   OOOPS!  OPSEC, shouldn't have said where it sank...
