Does anyone here have Charter?  I was going to switch from ATT but when I asked about the download cap they have at 250 gig they said it applies to all usage including watching netflix and we really watch a lot of netflix.  Does anyone here have any input on it.  Would I even get close to that cap watching netflix constantly?

According to this post on netflix's blog http://techblog.netflix.com/2011/01/netflix-performance-on-top-isp-networks.html  their HD streaming rate is 4800 kb/sec or about 0.586 megabytes per second.

250GB limit*1024/.586/60/60=121 hours of full res HD netflix streaming, but according to that blog post, most ISPs can only do at most 2800 kb/sec, so that's more like 208 hours.

You should be good.

Also, AT&T has a download cap too, so if you have been ok with them, you should be ok with charter.
