Upon further consideration of the Bill of Rights: 1- Anything you wish to express either verbally or in writing must be submitted to a panel of politicians so that it can be determined whether or not you "need" to express it. 3- In order to reduce defense spending, each American family will now house a Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine. We'll let you choose which branch of service you get. 4- You don't really "need" any privacy now do you... 5- Confession is good for the soul (and due process is really inefficient anyway) 6- Who "needs" a lawyer if accused of a crime? You'll do fine, and we promise to get to your case as soon as possible and let you confront the witnesses against you if we think you "need" to do so. 8- It may be cruel, but if we do it enough it won't be unusual... Oh, and that whole bail thing, well... 9- Any right worth having was worth enumerating. 10- Any power not enumerated to the federal government was simply an oversight. |
| That's pretty funny, the Dems want to try and ram thru a "positive" Bill Of Rights to replace the current "negative" ones and guarantee such things as a right to a job, living wage, house and pretty much any bodies stuff you don't have to make things fair. Just looking out for everybody.... |
