I have found myself right in the middle of a craptastic time to get need a lower to match my upper, haven't I?

Well, never the less, I do need one. I understand Noveske has sent out lowers and the shops should have them now or the next day or so. If y'all know of a shop that gets them in I would greatly appreciate a heads up on it by text or call.
I know of one shop right up 85 that is getting some but I refuse to spend any more money there due to the explination of thier price increase by double. Now, don't shit on me for saying that, it's the unprofessional explination that pissed me off, not the price (although I'm not excited about that).

If I get one, a finders fee will be applicable of 1 NIW P-Mag. As close to Douglasville as possible would be awesome. 770-490-7035 Billy

Keep calling around, you may get lucky. And honestly, getting lucky is probably your best bet right now unfortunately.

Have you gotten on all the websites that have "notify me when this is in stock" type setups?? it's a long shot, but if you spread it around far enough you may just catch a break from a dealer somewhere else. You'd have to have it shipped in, but since they're unobtanium around here I can't imagine you wouldn't be willing to pay a few bucks to ship/transfer one in).

Makes me wish I could go back to October and buy a half dozen while they were just sitting in the case at Bullseye Lawrenceville calling out to me "we want to go sit in your safe!". Silly me, I refused to take 'em home at $180 each or whatever they were listed at. DOH!

(Seeing some of the stripped lower prices I've seen the last few days, it'd amaze me if you found one at any sort of reasonable price anywhere).

Just posted to fb, better hurry up.

Bulls-Eye Indoor Range & Gun Shop
The BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is here: We have acquired a large number of Noveske Stripped Receviers, we currently have IN STOCK for sale Gen 1, Gen 1 Chainsaw, Gen 2 & Gen 2 Chainsaw. You will notice that these are priced higher than we would normally sell these receivers. As many of you know, John Noveske was killed tragically in a car accident January 4th. Unfortunately he didn’t have life insurance which has made it rough for his wife and 3 kids. He had 2 boys that were 9 & 11, and a 3 year old girl. In an effort to help his family, we have purchased these Noveske products at above retail pricing and are donating a portion of the proceeds to his family.

Currently these are only available for sale to walk in customers but we will soon have these listed on gunbroker, so if you are out of state then you will be able to purchase at that time.

Gen 1s were 400 with 50 off for chainsaw

Noveske has always been able to fetch a premium over other stripped lowers, but thats a tad high even for them.

i bet they only donate them 50 from each lower. at least Geiselle gave them 25k.

i dont see think noveske will be financially hurt, not when they have been selling rifles in the 2k range all day.

Bulls-Eye has been consistently high on components recently.  The last time I was in, they were selling stripped BCM upper receivers for $160 ($40 over MSRP).  I understand the climate and they are perfectly within their rights to do so, but that doesn't mean I'm going to pay those prices.

I would like one and I'm not above paying premium. I payed 480 for a stripped ar10 lower during the 08 fiasco, but I think I'm going to have to let this slide.

I spent the last 4 years making sure I didn't have to do this. I like no noveske products but ill get one later hopefully. I'm sure there are going to be people plenty happy to find one. I know I was in 08.

On a side note. I'm not trying to be disrespectful but no life insurance? Guys get you some if you have small children

You consistantly bitch about the price of things, how they make "plenty" of money ect. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you don't like the idea of someone donating the proceeds of a product keep your mouth shut and keep your shitty opinion to yourself. Yeah I feel bad for his family, hell I just bought a $350 barrel and I'm trying to going another $350 8.2 300 blk barrel by noveske.  so im all about supporting.them & buying their we quality. so what with the hatridge?

I was in the area and I had actually planned to ride over and pick up one of the Gen 1 blem lowers for $350. I had thought they were originally $250 before the crazyness, but I double checked some other vendors and they were actually in the $150-$170 range. I read their facebook post about how they paid above market price, etc, and I got to thinking... I don't doubt that some of this money might be going to John Noveske's family, but how much of it really is? I find it hard to believe, the more i think on it, that Bull's Eye paid 4 and 600 for these lowers and is giving 100% of proceeds back like is implied and alluded to in the Facebook post. Personally, I think if I'm about so spend 250% above retail because I've been told the money is going to a charitable cause, I have a right to see where all the money is exactly going.

I don't really mean to stir the pot, I guess maybe I'm just too cynical.

You are pretty much correct on all accounts but the implication is that they gave higher than normal prices say $200-$400 a lower and the mark up is what they will be splitting with Johns family. This is the shop I alluded to in the op. They didn't get them from Noveske if that's the case, Noveske stated last week that they would not be raising prices. The Gen IIs were about $200-$250 prior to the crazy getting ahold of everyone. I'm not buying that a man with his business acumen didn't have insurance either. I'll leave it at that for now. More to come.....................................

I hate it when people make claims that they can't back up or even remotly claim is a truth. Now your essentially saying they are just scamming customers to make more money. Guess it doesent matter thought because they already make "plenty". You people making these claims are idiots. Btw ill be more than happy tp apologize if they are scamming people, but they are not. By your standards every charity is scamming people out of money because they don't knpw the people they are donating to.

I own 1 noveske product and am far from a nutswinger. This is the first time I have ever said anything like this on forums and I'm generally a mellow person. However when I see you spewing this retarded bullshit from that gaping hole in the front part of your head you call a mouth, it makes me feel the need to call you out. Do you even think about the shit you say or do you let the first dumbass comment you think of flow straight to they keyboard?

I donate regularly to the nra, but I guess because I just say it and you dont physcially see it I don't do crap.

Btw this same shit applies to you OP and G-money if you do 100% believe they are scamming people.

I had the same discussion with a buddy last night.

I actually went by the shop today as I was between stops while running errands. I waited 15 minutes near the counter that has the lowers & AR parts - not a single employee even made it close to my area to try and help me, and they were stacked 2 deep at the counter and I didn't have time to wait any longer so I left.

I did want to ask them how much they were contributing to the Noveske's. Because damn, those prices are steep and I just wanted to know it was more than $20 or something pitiful like that.
