Anonymous appears to be on our side.
For those of you who don't know who they are Link The stuff they can do is a little scary. They're a better friend than enemy. |

Arent they the ones who hacked Sony playstation servers and stole millions of credit card numbers? And never used one. apparently They did it because they warned sony of their weak security protocols. Sony didnt pay any attention, and it cost them billions.
And more recently, they threatened A California police dept that they would hack their systems, if they didnt persue, after they dropped investigations in an officer involved shooting of an unarmed man. Last I heard, they were looking back into the investigation. This is one group that we need on our side during the current times. If there is anyone that could shut the .gov down, I truly believe it's them. They may be a bunch of nerds, But they are probably the most dangerous group on the planet. And they are outright threatening the administration. I wonder what will come of this. |

While the video is very enlightening and sounds great, I still wonder about their motivies in general ...
Just a tidbit from scanning Wikipedia. From Wikipedia Israel In response to Operation Pillar of Cloud in November 2012, Anonymous launched a series of attacks on Israeli government websites. Anonymous protested what they called the "barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment of the Palestinian people".[62] Occupy movement Anonymous activists merged with Occupy Wall Street protesters. Anonymous members descended on New York's Zucotti Park and organized it partly. After it became known that some Occupy protesters would get violent, Anonymous used social networking to urge Occupy protesters to avoid disorder. Anonymous used Twitter trends to keep protests peaceful.[44] A similar protest occurred outside the London Stock Exchange in early May 2012 during a May Day Occupy protest.[45] |

While that's often the position of hoodlums and ne'er do wells, one could also say the guys who wrote the Constitution were those kinda guys as far as the crown was concerned. In this case, it's an assertion of authority (and a constitutionally invalid one at that) we want to beat back, and that's their specialty. |

They can do temporary damage, but there are techniques in place by most large organizations to mitigate their tactics. They pose no serious risk to the Federal Gov't. Local and State gov'ts are probably easier to impact. Just keep thinking that. If they wanted to goat fuck the Feds, they could probably do it. Big Brother does not attract the best and brightest when it comes Network/Computer Security. |

They may be the people writing the code for the .gov security systems. One nerd in the right place, is all it would take. Apparently one of thier top guys was just found dead. Ssuicide by hanging, or so they said. The group is saying that it was from years of harassment by whatever prosecutor. Seems like A LOT of people who dont like the government are turning up dead lately.. |

Calling thenm nerds ifs no longer PC.... We prefer to be called geeks..... Never piss off the geeks... Theres never been a movie (or 4) called Revenge of the geeks. About a bunch of geeks that get tired of being pushed around by jocks and beat them at their own game using their brains. And Geeks are more into tinkering, and hacking. And A nerd would have never make a post without spell checking it first. Either way, It's a term of endearment especially if they are on the same team as me.... I gotta go, I hear helecopters...... |

I looked through the anonymous twitter feeds where they would likely first announce a video. Not there. Searched twitter for the link used at 1crimm video site and they are not using it. I question the authenticity of the video. It is done in beautiful anon style, but it could be an impostor. Can anyone find a credible source to prove this is from anonymous? I don't doubt that most of it is in political alignment with their causes. They are a great bunch, who are true anarchists that demand the truth and expose liars. Once they get a cause, they execute. As with anarchy in general, you can't pick and choose the causes YOU want them to pursue... |
