I recently purchased a foreclosed property and someone put a KD100 LockState Door Key Dock on the front door.

I have no idea who put it on nor do I have the code to open it.

It's a low tech lock but I don't have the 4 digit code. I guess I'm going to have to drill it and need to know if there is a preferred place to attack the lock.

Is drilling my best low tech option or is there a better method..??

It looks like a sharp downward blow with a type of hammer commonly found in pawn shops would do the trick.

Come on man, there have to be at least a dozen guys local to you that could get in that house in minutes

Looks like a simple shim could get it open.

Or the hammer, since you don't need to be sneaky.

Just burn the place down, it's foreclosed anyways.

This always a real option....

It's a mobile home sitting on acreage. I purchased the land and the mobile home was an added bonus.

The property value would likely increase at least $750.00 if the trailer disappeared.

Call whoever you bought it from and see if they want their lockbox back.

Have you tried bolt cutters? I am thinking it'll take less than 5 seconds. Thats just a POS chinese padlock.
