Commercial buffer.  Think it was blue locktited.  Anyone in the Smyrna , kennesaw, or marietta area have a heavy duty castle nut wrench?  Anyone want to help?  don't care about the tube or nut, just don't want to jack up the lower.

Forgot to mention.  Broke the cheap dpms wrench I had trying to get it off...

Thanks!

You can try some heat on the castle nut.  Just keep the heat (torch) away from the lower.  I had a S&W that was loctited and it took a torch to break it free.

a Hammer and punch is my preferred method. place the punch in the slot and smack with a hammer, usually only takes one or two smacks.
