"Tactical" knives are great, but in the end they are still tools, they need a few utilitarian features. ETA: For what it's worth, I cut myself pretty bad with my current EDC the night I got it! What idiot at SOG came up with the brilliant idea to package a razor-sharp knife opened in a ultrasonically welded blister pack?!? I should call the Gunny about this! Funny now, but at the time my blood platelet count was down to about 40K and I didn't have my medkit. I thought I was never going to get it stopped and I got blood everywhere. I carry some gauze and hemostatic in the truck at all times now.
